I'm sad to report that my stepdad, and one of Soccer Star's original GM's, passed away peacefully in hospital on Thursday. He went quickly and wasn't in any pain and was surrounded by his family. A lot of you have met Mick on various meets or will know him through the game, as he was the original GM (along with my Mum) of the WPL, Trent and Allied leagues (and one other?).

It must have been great to start this game with family joining the ride with you. Most of us were excited with one brown envelope a week, but I can only imagine what it was like at your end.
