Post subject:  British Supreme v Major Oak Alliance
Hotly tipped for the title, British Supreme will be incredibly disappointed to be sent packing at such an early stage of the tournament. They came out today, all guns blazing, knowing they needed a win to rescue themselves after the first-match defeat, but MOA seemed to be expecting it and weren't intimidated by their opponents. Indeed, after just 3 minutes, MOA had already taken the lead when Alexander Highsmith headed in from a corner. A second was added before half time by striker Hamilton Bone and BS looked dead and buried. To their credit, BS continued to attack, knowing they now needed 3 goals to stay in the tournament, but it backfired as MOA added a 3rd mid-way through the 2nd half, Highsmith again netting from with a headed goal. BS pulled one back towards the end, Jimmy Johnson with the goal, but MOA added to their misery when they were awarded a penalty. Highsmith stepped up to complete his hat-trick and BS's shame.

A cracking result for MOA, who are now through to the knockout stages and a great game from the neutrals point of view. Loxley Elite will join the MOA in the last 8 if they grab a point in their final game or if NSA fail to win.

Yep well chuffed with myself on that one. Did you notice Lambert and Butler wasn't playing this time. :lol:

I shall be supporting the Loxley Elite now, i hope that has dampened there chances now. :)
