This was a game which both teams really needed to win, and the RH will feel particularly disappointed with the result after putting so much pressure on the GE goal, but 19 year old keeper Louis Provart played magnificently to keep them at bay. The only goal of the game came from GE midfielder Eric Powell, direct from a free kick on the edge of the box. Both teams continued to battle, RH knowing that draw would also be a reasonable result for them, but it ended 1-0 and the RH are in real trouble now. |
