Rich is right, let's start with a simple competition. You'll be lucky if I can get that right :lol:

Ok, I'm going to go ahead with this starting NOW! So, if anybody has a team which won their respective league last season, you're eligible to enter. That's from today, 4/9/2007. If you win your league after today, you'll be eligible for the next comp.

If you are eligible, write down the details here, which league you won with which team and that you're interested in taking part.

Although there will be no prize for this at this stage, I will allow the winners to go around claiming that they're the official Champions League Champions

Would it work better if each leagues 4 divisions champions entered?? Still is champions league as such and therefore should bring in more entries - still doesn't qualify me but hey ho :lol:

In fact it would as Sliema won div 2 ( even tho i only ran 2 games :lol:

)

Anyways just a thought for higher entrants.

No...demeans the idea of a Champion of SS if teams can enter after winning a lower division, on that basis it would make more sense to have the higher placed top flight teams in a league in it as they will have played at a more competitive level and be relatively successful (and I still think that is a bad idea...still reckon just the Champions).

I was under the impression that most of our league champions were on the forum, but it looks like I was wrong. Since we only have 1 entry so far, I guess it was too early to suggest this idea

Unfortunately you have a fair few former Champions on here...just bad timing..

How about an all time Champions competition ? There are a fair few of us on here who have won a title in say the last 5 years...
