Double headers this week for Oakbank Athletic.

First up is an away day at Revelstone. Not expecting much from this one, but if we can keep the defence tight maybe we can nick a 0-0 for another big point.

We also have cup action against Div 2 side Stanton United. Hoping a good draw for us to progress, but with wanting a different set up to league game it might be a banana skin for us.

Broughton Rovers win 1-2 away in the league at Culter FC. In the cup we throw away a 3-0 lead and lose
3-4 to Clach FC.

Stanton United win 1-0 at home to Fetteresso F.C.
Stanton put up a brave performance in the cup and take Oakbank Athletic to extra time, but are out played and lose 1-0.

Retro Palestra draw 0-0 away at Rothes FC who had won 4 on the bounce and hadn’t conceded in the league in 3.
In the cup Retro lose 1-0 after extra time against Revelstone. Set up for the league matched our cup strategy. A decent performance away from home, but we couldn’t nick a goal or hang on for penalties which was our only real hope.

Well beaten at Revelstone so no complaints.


Tough game in the cup and takes an extra time goal to put us into the hat for next round. Good luck to Stanton United this season in their promotion bid.

Very pleased with Longfield's 3-0 win at Yorkshire in the league but not so pleased with a poor 1-2 defeat at home to Wolf Town in the Cup.

Two wins for Newport this week both by a 1-0 score line make it a positive day for the team

I enjoyed my moment in 2nd place in the Premiership, even if it lasted for one week. Never thought I'd get there, considering the rather stupid way I've run the club over the years.

A convincing win for Marc, and suddenly I'm in 5th, looking up at the Big 4. Perhaps I need to look over my shoulder instead...
